In a clash dubbed as "the battle of the beaches," the young Sharks are set to venture over the iconic Spit Bridge to face the mighty Manly Sea Eagles this Saturday.

According to reports from sharks.com.au, the absence of Australian Schoolboys halfback Riley Pollard due to head injury protocols hasn't dampened the spirits of the Dave Howlett-coached team, as they boast an abundance of talent.

As the teams prepare to lock horns at 4 Pines Park, the under-17 Sharks showcased their resilience in round three with a hard-fought 19-18 victory against Canberra.

The win propelled them to a 2-1 record and secured them a respectable seventh position on the ladder.

To keep their momentum going, Brad Kelly's troops will have to hand the currently third-placed Sea Eagles their first taste of defeat this season.
