Sharks to pay respects on ANZAC Day

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

The lads over at the Sharks are gearing up to show their respect for the military heroes this ANZAC Day by attending Dawn Services around the Sutherland Shire.

It's all about paying homage to those who have served the country, both in the past and present.

In true sporting spirit, Sharks players and staff will be laying wreaths at ceremonies across the Shire, symbolizing their gratitude and reverence for the ANZACs.

It's a chance for the boys to show their solidarity and support for the servicemen and women.

The NRL squad will be spread out across various services, with Toby Rudolf, Sam Stonestreet, and Jesse Ramien expected at Cronulla, while Sione Katoa and Jayden Berrell will be at Miranda.

Assistant coach Steve Price and captain Cameron McInnes will pay their respects at Caringbah, and Jack Williams will be at Sutherland.

Ronaldo Mulitalo and Will Kennedy will be representing at Engadine, while CEO Dino Mezzatesta will join the crew at Cronulla.

But it's not just about the ceremonies - the Sharks also have a big game coming up against the Raiders in an ANZAC Round match in Canberra.

It's set to be a classic battle of strength and skill, with both teams looking to come out on top.

So as we gear up for a day of commemoration and competition, let's remember the sacrifices made by the ANZACs and support the Sharks as they take to the field in their honor.

For those interested, here's the list of Sutherland Shire Dawn Services and timings - a chance for the community to come together and pay their respects in true Aussie spirit.
