The Sharks secured a hard-fought 24-18 victory over the Sea Eagles in the Battle of the Beaches, with Will Kennedy and Sam Stonestreet playing pivotal roles in the win.

Kennedy's dazzling individual try and a controversially overturned long-range effort showcased his skill, while Stonestreet's two quickfire tries in the first half, facilitated by Braydon Trindall, gave the Sharks an 8-0 advantage at halftime.

Despite facing pressure from Manly early on, Cronulla's defense held strong and they capitalized on opportunities when bench forward Sifa Talakai made a significant impact.

Trindall's well-placed pass led to Stonestreet's second try, breaking the stalemate and setting the stage for the Sharks' victory.

This win was vital for Cronulla as it ended a two-game losing streak, with Kennedy's performance being especially noteworthy.
