The Sydney Roosters' Olivia Kernick has been named as the No.13 for the Westpac NSW Sky Blues in the upcoming Ampol State of Origin decider at Townsville's Queensland Country Bank Stadium on June 27th.

Kernick will be moving from lock position to starting forward, with her teammate Keeley Davis taking on the No.15 jersey on the bench.

The series is currently tied at one win apiece, with the Sky Blues victorious in Game One at Suncorp Stadium with a score of 22-12, and the Maroons coming out on top in Game Two with a close 11-10 win at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.

This year's Women's State of Origin has been a thrilling battle between the two states, with plenty of on-field drama and excitement.

In recent years, both NSW and Queensland have been evenly matched in the Women's State of Origin, with each team claiming the Origin Shield three times since the competition was re-branded in 2018.

The rivalry between the two states is as strong as ever, and fans can expect another fierce contest in the upcoming decider.
