Sharks Risk Losing Star Hooker Amid Contract Negotiations

Blayke Brailey has established himself as the most in-form hooker in the NRL for 2025, and he is aiming for a contract that reflects his performance, even if it means leaving the Cronulla Sharks.

Recent reports from zerotackle.com indicate that negotiations between Brailey and the Sharks have stalled, as the hooker has rejected the club's latest offer.

His manager, David Riolo, stated, "They [Cronulla] made an offer - we didn't accept it.

I put a counter offer and they are considering it.

We are kind of in limbo at the moment." Although Brailey has expressed some willingness to stay with the Sharks, it appears likely that he will explore free agency by the November 1 deadline.
