Sink your teeth into the latest news from the sharks.com.au website as they announce the opening of applications for the girls Winter Academy.

After a stellar showing in the junior representative season, the Sharks are searching for talented players and dedicated staff to join their ranks for the 2024 program.

Calling all players registered with Cronulla-Sutherland District Junior League clubs - the girls Winter Academy is looking to bolster their under 14s, 16s, and 18s squads.

This initiative is a crucial stepping stone in the Sharks' women's pathway, aimed at pinpointing and honing local talent for success on the field.

Fresh off the NSWRL junior representative season, where the under-19 Tarsha Gale Sharks narrowly missed out on the grand final and the under-17 Lisa Fiaola squad showed promising growth in their debut year, the stage is set for the next generation of female stars to shine.

If you think you have what it takes to make the cut, mark your calendars for the trials at Woolooware High School on Tuesday, June 4.

Dust off your boots, grab your mouthguard, and be prepared to showcase your skills in the tackling component.

Applications close on Sunday, May 26, so don't miss out on this opportunity.

Coaches, sports trainers, physiotherapists, equipment coordinators, and team managers are also encouraged to throw their hat in the ring for staff roles within the Winter Academy.
