The Raiders were flying high, leading the Sharks 18-0 before a dramatic turnaround saw them crash and burn in their NRL clash.

The Sharks clawed their way back into the game, scoring five consecutive tries to secure a stunning 34-22 victory at Shark Park.

The turning point came when the Bunker controversially ruled in favor of Cronulla's captain's challenge in the 26th minute.

From that moment on, it was all Cronulla as Braydon Trindall ripped through the defense to score shortly after.

Despite Canberra's early dominance, with James Schiller scoring in the corner off a Matt Timoko tap-on and Xavier Savage adding another try, they couldn't maintain their momentum.

The Sharks capitalized on mistakes and took control of the game, leaving the Raiders reeling.

In a game of highs and lows, the Sharks showed grit and determination to come from behind and snatch the win from the Raiders.

The match serves as a reminder that in Rugby League, anything can happen and no lead is ever safe.
