In a gritty battle on the field, the Sydney Roosters managed to withstand a fierce Sharks onslaught and emerged victorious in a heart-stopping NRLW Grand Final clash, as reported by sharks.com.au.

The Roosters took a commanding 24-0 lead at halftime, showcasing their dominance early on.

However, the Sharks were not willing to go down without a fight and mounted a courageous comeback in the second half, narrowing the gap to just two points with eight minutes remaining.

Dally M Medallist Olivia Kernick delivered a decisive blow with her second try of the game in the 66th minute, seemingly sealing the win for the Roosters.

But Sharks' skipper Tiana Penitani's late try reignited hope for her team, only for the Roosters to cling on and secure a 32-28 victory.

Roosters forward Millie Elliott set the tone with a powerful display in the opening stages, while five-eighth Joceleyn Kelleher caused chaos with her precise kicks, forcing five errors from bombs within the first 20 minutes.

The Roosters capitalized on their opponents' mistakes, running in five tries to none in the first half.

In a game filled with twists and turns, the Roosters ultimately emerged triumphant, proving their mettle in the face of the Sharks' valiant fightback.

It was a Grand Final clash that will be remembered for its sheer intensity and dramatic moments on the field.
