The Sharks at sharks.com.au have dished out the latest on the upcoming Junior Reps Finals Week One, and it's set to be a cracking showdown.

After a bye week, the NSWRL Junior Representative finals are ready to kick off with two Sharks teams vying for glory.

The under-17 Harold Matthews boys and under-19 Tarsha Gale girls are geared up to hit Leichhardt Oval on Sunday, where they will take on the Roosters and Indigenous Academy in crucial elimination matches.

It's all on the line, but victory could see them through to the grand final qualifiers.

Under the guidance of coach Brad Kelly, the Harold Matthews Sharks clinched the fourth spot in the regular season, notching up six wins in eight games (and a sneaky bye).

With a spring in their step, they'll be heading into Sunday's showdown with heads held high, especially after toppling the Roosters just under a fortnight ago in Round 9 to climb up the ladder.

Despite the Roosters taking an early 18-0 lead within the first 13 minutes in their last battle at PointsBet Stadium, the Sharks fought back ferociously, clinching a nail-biting 26-22 victory.

Led by the masterful halfback Lachlan Metcalfe, the Roosters initially had the upper hand, but the Sharks showed incredible resilience and skill to snatch the win in a pulsating encounter.
