Sharks seek a Kade to mend their injured line

Injured Cronulla Sharks fullback Kade Dykes is reportedly receiving a lifeline from an NRL club for the next season.

Despite his talent, Dykes has faced significant injury challenges, playing only nine NSW Cup matches over the past three years.

At just 23 years old, Dykes tore his ACL in 2023 during training and underwent surgery to repair cartilage in 2024, missing two consecutive seasons.

His misfortunes continued this year when he ruptured his patellar tendon in his other knee in April, which has sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

Currently, Dykes is behind William Kennedy and Liam Ison in the Sharks' lineup, but he is expected to sign with the Canterbury Bulldogs for 2026 as he aims to turn his career around.
