After months of swirling rumors and uncertainty, Cronulla Sharks' rising star, Kayal Iro, has finally made his decision on his future with the club.

The young gun has inked a new two-year deal that will keep him in the Shire until at least 2026, giving him a solid foundation to build upon for the long haul.

Speculation about Iro's potential departure from the Sharks has been making the rounds for nearly a year now.

Despite facing challenges in securing a consistent spot in the first-grade team, Iro's versatility in playing multiple positions such as centre, wing, and fullback has kept him in the mix.

Initially sidelined in the early rounds of the current season, Iro seized his opportunity in Round 4 and hasn't looked back since.

His impact on the field has been undeniable, with two tries scored, four try assists delivered, and an impressive 55 tackle busts and 162 metres gained per game.

Not to mention his stellar tackling accuracy of nearly 90%, a feat not often seen in an outside back.

With his future secured and his performance on the rise, Iro is poised to make a lasting impression in the Rugby League world, solidifying his place as a key player for the Sharks.

It's clear that this young talent is here to stay and make his mark in the game.
