The Cronulla Sharks have announced the signing of versatile Newcastle Knights utility Riley Jones, effective immediately.
With only one NRL game under his belt, Jones aims to secure a regular position in Craig Fitzgibbon's squad.
Originally starting as a five-eighth and hooker, the 23-year-old from Gosford has also played as a fullback, wing, and center for the Knights' NSW Cup team.
Expressing his excitement about joining the 2016 premiers, Jones stated, "I'm really grateful to Fitzy for putting belief in me and moving me over here."
