Shark's Late Mail: Knee Woes and Rooster Showdown

Late Mail - Finals Week 1

In a late development, the Sharks have announced that Braden Hamlin Uele will be withdrawn from the team due to a knee complaint.

This unfortunate injury occurred during Wednesday's training session and has prevented him from recovering in time for tonight's crucial semi-final clash against the Roosters.

As a result, Royce Hunt will step up and take Uele's place in the Sharks' starting line-up.

Additionally, young forward Jesse Colquhoun has been included on the interchange bench.

Despite this change, the rest of the Sharks team remains unchanged from the initial selection made on Tuesday.

Connor Tracey has been given the all-clear to play and will take his position at fullback after overcoming a lower leg issue suffered in the team's victory over Canberra last weekend.

Utility player Daniel Atkinson will serve as the 18th man and concussion substitute for this match.

The highly anticipated elimination semi-final between the Sharks and Roosters is scheduled to kick off at 7.50pm at the sold-out PointsBet Stadium.
