Shark's future in deep waters with club interest

The future of Cronulla Sharks' rising star is up in the air as clubs circle like vultures, eyeing off the off-contract utility back.

Known for making history by scoring Greece's first try in a Rugby League World Cup match, Siteni Taukamo has been a loyal Shark since 2020, starting from the Harold Matthews Cup and working his way up the ranks.

But as the 2025 season approaches, Taukamo finds himself without a deal, potentially facing a move away from the Aussie shores.

According to reports from Fox Sports, several Super League clubs are sniffing around, keen to snatch up his talents in this uncertain period.

Despite never making his NRL debut, Taukamo has been a standout in the Jersey Flegg Cup, proving himself as the Sharks' go-to fullback.

Will he stay or will he go? Only time will tell in this game of contracts and negotiations.
