Cronulla stars Emma Verran, KL Iro, and Braydon Trindall have launched the club's new Score Sharks program, coinciding with Thursday's upcoming match against the Dragons.

The initiative, developed in partnership with the Disability Trust, aims to establish a team for individuals with disabilities.

Over the past 18 months, this new team has trained together, recently playing a series of games against local Cronulla teams.

Their first official match will be against the Score Dragons before the NRL clash between the main teams.

During the jersey presentation event, an emotional Verran expressed her feelings about the program's significance for the participants.
