The Sharks have made a bold move in finalizing their 2024 NRLW squad by promoting from within, showcasing their commitment to local talent.

Grace-Lee Weekes and Koreti Leilua have been given the nod to join the top 24, with contracts running until 2025.

Joining the squad as development players are Tarsha Gale Cup graduates Steph Faulkner, Tia-Jordyn Vasilovski, and Joy Levy, all hailing from the Cronulla Caringbah juniors, along with Jaydika Tafua from Taren Point.

These young players are looking to make their mark and grow with the team.

While the Sharks have made some strategic recruitments for the upcoming season, coach Tony Herman is placing a strong emphasis on promoting talent from within the club.

Weekes, a dynamic outside back and former NSW under-19 representative, impressed as a development player in the NRLW's inaugural campaign.

Leilua, a forceful prop, showcased her skills in the Tarsha Gale team, proving her ability to score tries and make an impact on the field.

With a mix of experience and youth, the Sharks are gearing up for an exciting season ahead, with a focus on developing their own homegrown talent.
