The Sharks have announced one alteration to their 17-man squad for their upcoming clash against Souths in Perth tonight.

Matt Moylan has been included on the interchange bench, replacing Jesse Colquhoun.

This decision holds significant importance for both teams as it could impact their chances of making it to the Finals.

Moylan's inclusion comes after winger Ronaldo Mulitalo was ruled out due to a head injury sustained during training, although he is expected to return for the Sharks' next game against the Titans in round 24.

Mawene Hiroti has been called up to replace Mulitalo in the team.

Furthermore, Oregon Kaufusi will be absent from the squad for the next 2-4 weeks due to surgery on his broken finger.

Both the Sharks and the Rabbitohs currently have 26 competition points, with the Rabbitohs holding a higher position on the ladder due to their superior for-and-against record.
