Sharks boys ready to bite Roosters, girls steal spotlight

Junior Reps Preview | Round 9

The Sharks are gearing up for the final round of the NSWRL Junior Representative regular season, with the boys set to take on the Roosters at home and the girls heading to Illawarra to face the Steelers on Saturday.

In a game where a loss wouldn't be catastrophic, the under-17 men are in a strong position to secure a top-six finish based on points differential alone.

However, coach Brad Kelly will want to see his team secure a win and keep the momentum going after their dominant performance against the Warriors last week.

With a chance to overtake the Roosters and move into fourth place after their recent loss, the under-17 boys will be looking to continue their winning streak at PointsBet Stadium.

Meanwhile, the under-19 boys are in eighth place and still have a slim chance of making the finals if they can defeat the top-of-the-table Roosters.

While their fate may depend on other results going their way, they will be giving it their all on the field in hopes of securing a playoff spot.

Overall, it's shaping up to be an exciting weekend of Rugby League action for the Sharks junior reps as they aim to finish the regular season on a high note.
