The southern Sydney derby returns as the Sharks host the Dragons for Round 15, with both teams looking to bounce back from recent defeats.

The Sharks fell to the Warriors, while the Dragons were beaten by the Dolphins.

Currently, Cronulla is positioned fifth on the ladder, striving to secure their spot in the top eight, whereas St George Illawarra languishes in 11th place, tied on 14 points with five other teams, including the seventh-placed Dolphins.

This rivalry is known for its intensity, but in recent matchups, the Sharks have dominated, winning nine straight games against the Dragons and 11 out of their last 12 encounters.

Notably, St George Illawarra has not emerged victorious at Sharks Stadium since 2018.

As both teams prepare for this crucial match, the Sharks will aim to maintain their winning streak, while the Dragons are desperate for a much-needed victory to climb the standings.
