The Jersey Flegg Sharks and Newtown Jets have announced their teams for a match against South Sydney at Coogee Oval on Sunday, as reported by sharks.com.au.
Both teams are currently positioned in the top four, but they enter Round 17 under different circumstances.
The Sharks' under-21s are looking to recover from a challenging 42-18 loss to the Storm, while the Jets ended a two-game losing streak with a 24-12 victory over North Sydney in a grand final rematch.
The Flegg Sharks benefit from the returns of key players: captain Sam McCulloch, halfback Riley Pollard, and second-rower Dylan Coutts, who all participated in the NSW Cup last week.
Additionally, Nikora Williams and Prestyn Laine-Sietu return to the centres after competing in the under-19 State of Origin match the previous Thursday.
For Newtown, second-rower Billy Burns will serve as captain, with the team welcoming back dynamic outside back Michael Gabrael following a short injury absence.
