The Sharks are gearing up for the 2024 NRLW season and are looking to build on the positive signs they showed in their inaugural year.
With a more favorable draw this year, they will have the opportunity to put together more consistent performances and improve on their ninth-place finish from last season.
The team will only have to travel as far as Canberra before a trip to the Gold Coast in Round 6, giving them a chance to start the season strong.
They will also have to contend with a five-day turnaround when they take on the Wests Tigers at PointsBet, but will benefit from three eight-day breaks throughout the year.
With only one of their first four opponents featuring in the postseason last season, the Sharks have a good opportunity to set themselves up for success early on.
The team will also feature in five doubleheaders, including a historic home game against the Knights, and will continue one of rugby league's oldest rivalries against the Dragons in Round 5.
The Sharks will be looking to kick off the season in style when they face the Cowboys at PointsBet Stadium, aiming to replicate the dominant performance they had against them last year.
