Billy Burns, a talented second-rower, has signed a one-year contract with the Sharks, providing valuable depth and versatility to the team.

The 25-year-old, who previously played for St George Illawarra, joined the club's full-time NRL squad for the 2024 season.

Known for his strong line running and ability to fill in at centre if needed, Burns has made 41 top-grade appearances since his debut in 2019.

His addition to the team comes at a crucial time, as coach Craig Fitzgibbon looks to bolster the back-row stocks following the retirement of veteran captain Wade Graham.

Burns trained with his new teammates for the first time at PointsBet Stadium last Friday, eager to make an impact in the upcoming season.
