Sunday's Pre-season Challenge match in Christchurch will see a new-look halves pairing in action for the Wests Tigers, with Aidan Sezer and Jayden Sullivan taking the field.
Sezer, who has spent the last four seasons playing in England, is returning to the NRL at 32 years old.
On the other hand, Sullivan, who is just 22 years old, will be making his debut for the Tigers after signing a four-year contract.
There is also excitement surrounding the potential NRL selection of young talent Lachlan Galvin, who has impressed during the pre-season and will be coming off the bench on Sunday.
The squad for the match consists of a diverse group of players, including experienced seniors, local juniors, and those on train and trial contracts.
Among them is former Canterbury Bulldogs player Declan Casey, who will start in the centres.
Another player to watch out for is Solomona Faataape, a development contract player who received the players' player award for last year's Queensland Cup premiers, Brisbane Tigers.
