The Westpac NSW Under 19s Women's team is set to face Queensland in the Women's State of Origin match on the Sunshine Coast on Thursday night, June 19.
Coach Courtney Crawford is optimistic about their chances, especially with the number seven held in high regard for good luck.
Notably, seven players from last year's victorious squad, which won against Queensland 46-4 at Leichhardt Oval, will be returning to compete.
These players include Ryvrr-Lee Alo, Indie Bostock, Evah McEwen, Evie McGrath, Maria Paseka, Kasey Reh, and Bronte Wilson.
