The Senior Sharks players were eager to hit the ground running as they commenced their NRL pre-season training on Friday.
The absence of key players like Nicho Hynes and Ronaldo Mulitalo, who were taking a well-deserved break after the Pacific Championships, did not dampen the enthusiasm of the squad.
Under the guidance of coach Craig Fitzgibbon, the experienced players showed impressive fitness levels and speed during the skills and conditioning session at PointsBet Stadium.
Jesse Ramien displayed a notably lean physique, while Dale Finucane led the way for the forwards in a grueling series of shuttle runs.
The training session also saw Blayke Brailey training alongside his younger brother Taj, who is set to benefit from the experience of mixing it with first-grade players as he continues his development as a dummy-half for the Sharks' under-19s SG Ball team.
The team is determined to build on their recent successes and make a strong push for the premiership in the upcoming season.
