Seibold's Bye: A Rest for the Best?

Manly Sea Eagles head coach Anthony Seibold has announced that his players will take time off during their upcoming bye week, following a demanding schedule of five games in 25 days.

The team, which began the season strongly with three wins out of four, faced a challenging period marked by three consecutive losses, including a trip to Perth.

After a significant victory against the Panthers on Saturday night at Parramatta, the Sea Eagles are set to enjoy their first bye of the season.

Seibold emphasized the importance of the break, especially after such an unusual and grueling stretch.

"Time off.

I have said this before, where we had 5 games in 25 days, which is very unusual.

The boys were really good because they had a long prep this week," he stated during the post-match press conference.

He added, "This has been in the calendar from Day 1, so the guys get a good break this week, and they need it, we need it."

As the NRL moves to Brisbane for Magic Round, the Sea Eagles are looking to recharge and maintain their momentum after recent performances.
