Manly Sea Eagles coach, Anthony Seibold, is not in a hurry to bring back Josh Schuster to the NRL side just yet.
The talented second-rower, who is making a comeback to his original position after a failed experiment at five-eighth last season, is still waiting for his NRL return in 2024.
Schuster had a bit of a rough pre-season, dealing with a hand injury and even catching chicken pox.
Despite Manly's assurance that he was in peak physical condition for the new season, these setbacks delayed his return to the field.
However, he did make a comeback in the NSW Cup last weekend, putting in a solid performance off the bench.
Looking ahead to Manly's upcoming clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons, Seibold confirmed that Schuster will remain sidelined until he is fully ready to make his NRL return.
Patience is key, and Seibold is willing to wait until Schuster is back at the top of his game before putting him back in the mix.
