The Sea Eagles' season has sadly come to an end in a heart-breaking semi-final loss to the Roosters, with a final score of 40-16.

After an impressive finals run that showcased their determination and fighting spirit, the Sea Eagles were unable to match the Roosters' intensity from the start.

Despite a gritty victory over the Bulldogs in the first week of finals, the Sea Eagles struggled to find their footing in front of a packed crowd at Allianz Stadium.

The loss of key players like Tolu Koula and Jake Trbojevic to concussion early in the game dealt a major blow to the Sea Eagles' chances.

Koula, who had been instrumental in the win over the Bulldogs, was forced off the field after a heavy tackle from Roosters' prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

Trbojevic, the vice-captain of the team, also suffered a concussion but managed to return to the field after receiving medical clearance.

The Roosters took an early lead with a try from Victor Radley, setting the tone for the rest of the match.

Despite a promising moment when Ben Trbojevic seemed to score, the bunker ruled it a knock-on, denying the Sea Eagles a much-needed try.

It was a tough night for the Sea Eagles, but they can hold their heads high after a season that saw them exceed expectations and prove themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the Rugby League world.

With their heads held high, they will regroup and come back stronger next season to continue their pursuit of rugby league glory.
