Manly Warringah Sea Eagles half-back Daly Cherry-Evans and lock Jake Trbojevic have both been selected to represent the Australian Prime Minister's XIII squad in a match against the PNG PM's XIII team.

The game is scheduled to take place on September 23 at the Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.

Cherry-Evans, who will serve as the vice-captain under South Sydney's Cameron Murray, previously represented the PM XIII team in 2018.

Trbojevic, on the other hand, has a longer history with the team, having represented them in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

This year's Men's Prime Minister's XIII squad will feature eight players from the Kangaroos squad, which won the World Cup in 2022.

This will be the first time the Prime Minister's XIII team has played in PNG since 2018.
