Sea Eagles Hold Accountability Meeting Post-Loss

The Manly Sea Eagles recently held a candid meeting among players to discuss accountability following their surprising defeat to Newcastle over the weekend.

According to Channel Seven's Agenda Setters, David Riccio from Code Sports reported that the team convened to tackle the issues that have plagued their season's start.

"My understanding is that a review meeting was held today where a lot of accountability was taken by the players," Riccio stated.

"They were honest about their own performances. That's on them, and the coach is only to blame so far."

"The key here is Seibold will be given a bit more time to dig himself out."

Currently, Seibold faces significant pressure to maintain his role as head coach, with the passionate Sea Eagles fan base openly expressing their dissatisfaction with the team's early performances on social media.

Former NRL star and co-panellist Luke Keary suggested that a change in leadership may be on the horizon for the club.

"I think they're nearly ready to go (in another direction). The way they finished last year and he had the whole off-season to make changes," Keary remarked.

The Sea Eagles were given a favorable schedule to commence the season, remaining on the Northern Beaches during the first month of the competition.
