The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are gearing up for an exciting Thursday night showdown against the Sydney Roosters at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

As the regular season nears its end, this round 23 match holds significant importance for the Sea Eagles as they push towards securing a spot in the Telstra Premiership finals.

In the team lineup, winger Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega will step in to replace the injured Christian Tuipulotu, who is out with a knee injury.

Additionally, Ben Trbojevic is set to make his comeback after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Unfortunately, prop Sean Keppie will be absent from the Roosters match due to a back spasm, although the club is hopeful to have him fit for the next week's clash against Penrith.

It's worth noting that Cherry-Evans has been in impressive form, having scored four tries in his last four games against the Roosters.

Furthermore, the Sea Eagles haven't defeated the Roosters twice in a season since 2017.
