Saifiti spills beans on Dolphins deal thanks to Woolf's pulling power

In a move that set tongues wagging across the Rugby League world, Dolphins powerhouse Daniel Saifiti has spilled the beans on what led him to sign with the club for the upcoming 2025 season - none other than the legendary Kristian "Woolfy" Woolf.

Whispers began to circulate during the 2024 season that the Newcastle Knights were looking to offload Saifiti due to some cap concerns.

Despite having time left on his deal, Saifiti was approached and the writing was on the wall.

But one thing was clear - Saifiti was not going to budge if it meant taking a hit to his paycheck.

It wasn't long before the lad struck a deal with the Dolphins, securing his spot for the next three years.

And the main driver? His history with Woolf, who had previously worked alongside Saifiti during his assistant coaching gig with the Knights back in '19.

Speaking to the press in true footy fashion, Saifiti declared, "The team's stacked with talent, no doubt about it.

Representative players left, right, and center.

But at the end of the day, reuniting with Woolfy was the real game-changer for me."

The stage is set for Saifiti to bring his A-game to the Dolphins and make a splash in the Rugby League scene with his undeniable skills and determination.

Here's to a new chapter in Saifiti's career with the Dolphins and the legend of Woolfy's guidance leading the way.
