Sharks collab with Raiderettes to launch new-look Mermaids in Vegas

In a league first, the Cronulla Sharks have teamed up with the Las Vegas Raiderettes to introduce the revamped Minespec Parts Mermaids cheer squad ahead of this weekend's NRL season-opener.

As the NRL team gears up for Saturday's highly anticipated clash with the Panthers, the Sharks held a special meet and greet and photoshoot at the impressive Raiderette Studios in Las Vegas on Wednesday (PST).

The event showcased veteran Sharks cheerleader Ellie Bull debuting the sparkling 2025 Mermaids uniform, alongside current Raiderettes Jordie and Kylie, former Raiderette and honorary Mermaid for the week Audrey, new Mermaids Director Robyn Parras, and Raiderettes Director Tiphanie McNiff.

The Raiderettes have been the top cheerleading squad in America's National Football League for 60 years, embracing women, tradition, and sisterhood.

This was a golden opportunity for the Sharks to gain insights into their philosophy and success on and off the field.

As part of the Sharks In Vegas campaign, the Mermaids cheerleaders will make an appearance at the team's signing session at the NRL Fan Hub at Resorts World on Thursday, while also getting involved in game-day activities at Allegiant Stadium.

The Sharks recently brought Robyn Parras on board as the Mermaids director to collaborate on the mission to create the NRL's most dynamic and entertaining cheer squad.
