Round 10 Judiciary Update: Four Charged

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The Sydney Roosters Round 10 clash against the New Zealand Warriors has certainly stirred up some controversy, as Joseph Sua'ali'i, Luke Keary, Angus Crichton, and Sandon Smith find themselves in hot water with the Match Review Committee.

Sua'ali'i has been slapped with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge for an incident that took place in the 22nd minute of the game.

The young gun has the option to plead guilty early and cop a $1000 fine, or risk it all and face a $1500 penalty if found guilty at the judiciary.

Meanwhile, Keary has also been hit with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge for an incident that occurred in the 25th minute of play.

He too can take the easy way out with an early guilty plea and a $1800 fine, or roll the dice and face a steeper $2500 penalty if found guilty.

Adding to the drama, Crichton has been charged with a Grade One Dangerous Contact (Tripping) charge stemming from an incident in the 60th minute.

The big man will need to decide whether to pay the $1300 fine with an early guilty plea, or potentially face a $2000 hit if found guilty at the judiciary.

It's a tough situation for these players, but it's all part of the rough and tumble world of Rugby League.

They'll need to weigh up their options, make their best play, and hope for a favorable outcome.
