The NZ Warriors have officially announced that Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will return to play in the centres for their upcoming NRL match against the Dolphins.
This marks his comeback after being sidelined with a hamstring injury since round three.
Tuivasa-Sheck has been included on the extended bench in jersey #22 and has successfully completed training sessions leading up to the game.
Due to injuries to key players including centres Rocco Berry and Ali Leiataua, as well as winger Edward Kosi, head coach Andrew Webster has moved Tuivasa-Sheck into the midfield role he occupied for much of the previous season.
The match is scheduled for Saturday at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, with a local kick-off time of 3.00 PM (5.00 PM NZT).
Currently, the Warriors are positioned second on the NRL ladder with a record of 7-2, replicating their best start to a season which was previously achieved in 2002 and repeated in 2018.
After a strong beginning with three consecutive wins against Manly-Warringah, the Roosters, and Wests Tigers, the team has bounced back from a heavy loss to the Storm, securing four consecutive victories against Brisbane, Newcastle, North Queensland, and St George Illawarra.
