The North Queensland Cowboys have made their Queensland Cup affiliate club arrangements for the 2024 season known.

According to cowboys.com.au, the Cowboys have finalized agreements with both the Northern Pride and the Mackay Cutters.

These two clubs will serve as the Cowboys' feeder clubs for the upcoming season.

In terms of player allocation, the NRL squad of the Cowboys will be split evenly between the Cutters and the Pride.

This means that players who do not make the final 17-man squad chosen by coach Todd Payten will have the opportunity to play in the Queensland Cup each week.

Both the Cutters and the Pride will also have the chance to send players to the Cowboys for training blocks during the pre-season, which is set to commence on November 1.

This arrangement will allow the players to train alongside the NRL squad and gain valuable experience.

Furthermore, the coaches of the Cutters and the Pride will have the opportunity to shadow Payten and his coaching staff during the pre-season.

This will provide them with valuable insights and development opportunities throughout the year.

Overall, the North Queensland Cowboys have established their feeder club arrangements for the 2024 season, with the Northern Pride and the Mackay Cutters playing crucial roles in player development and squad allocation.
