In the aftermath of the Sydney Roosters' Elimination Final clash against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Sam Walker finds himself in hot water as he faces scrutiny from the Match Review Committee.

According to reports from roosters.com.au, Walker has been cited and is now subject to a NRL Judiciary Update.

The young halfback has been charged with a Grade One Careless High Tackle, stemming from an incident that occurred in the 18th minute of the game.

The consequences for Walker's actions are dependent on his response to the charge.

Should he choose to enter an early guilty plea, he will be slapped with a $1000 monetary fine.

However, if found guilty at the panel, the fine will be increased to $1500.

This incident highlights the importance of maintaining discipline and adhering to the rules of the game, as even a momentary lapse in judgment can have significant consequences for a player and their team.
