The Sydney Roosters showcased the vulnerabilities of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, keeping their dreams of the 2025 NRL Finals alive, while the Bulldogs risk falling out of the top four.

In a highly anticipated match, it was veteran Daniel Tupou and powerhouse Naufahu Whyte who emerged as the standout players, leading the Roosters to a decisive 20-point win amidst a roster filled with representative talent.

Sam Walker further solidified his reputation as one of the top halfbacks in the NRL, joining the ranks of Nathan Cleary and Jahrome Hughes. He contributed two try assists, marking a third consecutive victory for the Bondi-based team.

Although the Bulldogs took an early lead with a try from Enari Tuala in the first ten minutes, the following 50 minutes belonged to the Tupou-Whyte duo, who each scored twice, effectively exploiting their opponents' weaknesses.

Walker found Tupou multiple times when near the goal line, and the winger's aerial prowess proved unstoppable. The Bulldogs offered little resistance, making the scoring opportunities far too easy for Tupou.

In total, Tupou finished the match with three tries and over 120 meters gained, showcasing his potential for even more if not for being held up at times or opting to pass to his teammates instead.
