Former Sydney Roosters teammates have teamed up off the field to form a new rap group called Dreamyourz, proving that their talents extend beyond the rugby league field.
Their debut album, Off-SZN, has already garnered over 85,000 streams on Spotify in just two days, showcasing their musical prowess.
Joseph Manu, Sitili Tupouniua, Joseph Suaalii, and Siua Wong may no longer be wearing the same jersey on the footy field, but their bond remains strong as they explore their shared passion for music.
The idea for the album was born during their time playing together for the Roosters, and what started as a bit of fun recording sessions at Manu's house turned into a full-fledged musical project.
Tupouniua explained, "The album began as a casual hobby among us boys.
We would hang out at Joey's place, jamming to music, and eventually decided to invest in some DJ and recording gear." The project started as a joke, but quickly evolved into something more serious as they found themselves creating song after song, culminating in the release of their first album.
Their journey from the footy field to the recording studio is a testament to their creativity and camaraderie, showcasing a different side to these former teammates.
Dreamyourz's success off the field is a reflection of the tight-knit bond they formed while playing together, proving that their talents extend far beyond rugby league.
