The latest NRL Round 7 Judiciary Update has stirred up some post-game drama for the Sydney Roosters, with star players James Tedesco and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves finding themselves in hot water [like a kangaroo caught in a bushfire].
After the Roosters clashed with the Melbourne Storm, both Tedesco and Waerea-Hargreaves were cited by the Match Review Committee [like two magpies fighting over a worm].
Waerea-Hargreaves was slapped with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge stemming from an incident early in the game [like a scrum collapsing under pressure].
If Waerea-Hargreaves decides to bite the bullet and take an early guilty plea [like a rugby player diving on a loose ball], he'll cop a $1800 fine.
On the other hand, Tedesco's Tripping charge in the 71st minute could see him hit with a $750 fine if he opts for an early guilty plea.
However, if he's found guilty at the judiciary [like a ref blowing the whistle on a high tackle], he'll be facing a $1000 fine.
But fear not, Roosters fans! Both players will still be in the lineup for the upcoming ANZAC Day Cup showdown against the St George Illawarra Dragons [like two titans going head-to-head].
So grab your stubby holder [drink cooler] and get ready for some [hard-hitting] action on Thursday afternoon.
