The Roosters have made it clear they won't be chasing after Dragons star Zac Lomax, despite having some extra cash in their pockets for next season.

Coach Trent Robinson confidently declared, "We've got the centres that we want," even though current starters Joseph Manu and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii won't be around in 2025.

Lomax was granted a release from his contract earlier this week, sparking interest from the Eels as potential suitors.

The Dragons are open to a player swap if they can snag a suitable star in return.

The Roosters were initially seen as a potential destination for Lomax, especially with their two strike weapons heading to rugby next year.

However, with Billy Smith secured and youngster Robert Toia set to make his debut, the Roosters are content with their current roster and won't be pursuing Lomax.

Robinson emphasized, "We've got the centres that we want.

We still need to add a couple of outside backs, but not at that price range.

We're not going after Lomax."
