In a recent off-season podcast tirade, Roosters star Brandon Smith didn't hold back in criticizing the Wests Tigers players who have received breach notices for failing to meet the club's fitness requirements.
According to reports from Code Sports, at least two players will have to face the music in front of the board.
Smith, speaking on the Bye Round podcast with James Graham, didn't mince his words when he called out the Tigers players for their lack of respect towards coach Benji Marshall and the club.
"Three wooden spoons in a row, a new coach, and you're going to come back out of condition," Smith exclaimed, questioning the players' dedication to both the team and the game.
With the new season looming ahead, these Tigers players need to pull their socks up and show some true blue Aussie grit if they want to avoid another disappointing year on the field.
It's time to toughen up, show some true blue Aussie spirit, and give it their all on the pitch.
Let's hope they can bounce back like champions and prove their worth in the upcoming season.
