In a disappointing display, the Wests Tigers suffered a comprehensive 48-10 defeat to the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The match report from weststigers.com.au highlights the struggles faced by the Tigers throughout the game.

The Roosters gained further momentum when the Tigers failed to execute a short drop-out, allowing Millie Boyle and Isabella Kelly to crash over for quick back-to-back tries.

The Tigers' nightmare start worsened when co-captain Kezie Apps was ruled out after failing her Head Injury Assessment (HIA).

However, Sarah Togatuki provided a glimmer of hope for the Tigers as she capitalized on a Roosters error to score her side's first try.

Despite this, the Roosters continued their dominance with Mia Wood scoring a first-half double on her NRLW debut, alongside her center Jessica Sergis.

Just before halftime, Rikeya Horne's try gave the Tigers some confidence as they entered the break with a 28-10 deficit.

Nevertheless, the Roosters had no trouble scoring from their own half, as Amelia Pasikala and Corban Baxter both crossed the try line with length-of-the-field efforts.

Although the Tigers came close to scoring on several occasions, the Roosters proved relentless in their ability to quickly turn defense into attack.

Wood added to her impressive tally by grabbing her third try of the afternoon.

To seal the victory, Jocelyn Kelleher scored in the corner from dummy-half, resulting in a final score line of 48-10 in favor of the Roosters.

It was a disappointing outcome for the Wests Tigers, who struggled to keep up with the Roosters' relentless attack and clinical finishing throughout the match.
