Roosters soar over Eels, but lose captain Kelly

Roosters Power Past Eels in Final Regular Season Match

The Sydney Roosters powered their way past the Parramatta Eels in their final regular season match, setting themselves up nicely for the NRLW finals.

The Roosters are on a roll with a four-game winning streak, but the victory was marred by captain Isabelle Kelly's suspected dislocated elbow injury.

Kelly's injury came as she pulled away from a tackle early in the second half, leaving fans and teammates grimacing as she received medical attention on the field.

Despite this setback, the Roosters put on a dominant display, scoring three tries in the final 20 minutes to secure a comfortable win.

However, they missed out on claiming the minor premiership by not winning by the required 21 or more points to climb past the Broncos.

Standout performances from fullback Samantha Bremner, who scored a double and made crucial defensive plays, and halfback Jocelyn Kelleher, who stepped up in the absence of her injured halves partner, Tarryn Aiken, were key to the Roosters' success.

They now set their sights on a clash with the Knights next week for a spot in the grand final.

From the opening kick that landed right into Bremner's hands for an early try, Parramatta never seemed to find their footing in the match.

The Roosters' strong start rattled the Eels, leaving them struggling to make an impact in the game's early stages.
