The Sydney Roosters have officially confirmed the signing of Cody Ramsey on a two-year deal, ensuring his presence until the end of the 2027 NRL season.
At 25 years old, Ramsey transitions from the St George Illawarra Dragons, where he debuted in the NRL in 2020 and completed 36 first-grade matches in his initial three years.
Following a lengthy absence of 896 days due to ulcerative colitis, Ramsey astonishingly returned to the sport in 2025, taking on the role of captain for the Dragons' NSW Cup team, which reached the Grand Final.
Joel Carbone, the Roosters Head of Recruitment, expressed enthusiasm for Ramsey's addition to the Club's Top 30 roster.
Ramsey is set to officially join the Roosters later this month.
