The Sydney Roosters Foundation will take center stage during Round 24, as the Roosters take on the Parramatta Eels at Allianz Stadium this Friday.
The Foundation, established in 2021 as the fundraising arm of the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club, will be showcased during the match.
In a true display of teamwork and commitment, 18 passionate individuals, known as 'The Founders', came together to kickstart the Sydney Roosters Foundation.
Their contributions paved the way for the launch of the Sydney Roosters Academy, the first major project under the Foundation's the People pillar.
The idea for the Academy was sparked during a 2020 preseason trip to Barcelona, where the Roosters were inspired by the world-class facilities of FC Barcelona.
Just like La Masia, where young footballers are developed into Barcelona stars, the Sydney Roosters Academy aims to nurture the future stars of the Roosters team.
Chairman Nick Politis AM had a clear vision for the Roosters, envisioning a successful pathway for aspiring players similar to that of the renowned football club.
This partnership with the Sydney Roosters Foundation highlights the Roosters' dedication to developing talent and giving back to the community.
