The Sydney Roosters have made a savvy move in strengthening their NRLW squad by securing the services of Jayme Fressard and adding the promising talent of Tyra Ekepati.

Fressard, a player who never fails to impress with her skills and commitment, has inked a two-year extension, keeping her at the Roosters until the end of the 2025 season.

With her remarkable strength and agility, she was the force behind six tries in just eight matches last year, while also displaying exceptional defensive prowess with a tackle efficiency rating of 97.4%.

As a key figure in the Central Coast Roosters' female pathway, Fressard also took on coaching responsibilities for the Lisa Fiaola Cup team, demonstrating her leadership abilities.

Joining Fressard in the Roosters' NRLW squad is the emerging talent of Tyra Ekepati, who has earned a development contract for 2024 and is expected to make her mark in the Top 24 squad in 2025.

A product of the Roosters' successful female pathway on the Central Coast, Ekepati's progression is a testament to the club's commitment to nurturing talent from within.

Head Coach John Strange expressed his satisfaction in securing Fressard's services and was thrilled to have Ekepati continue her development within the senior squad.

This bolstered roster offers the Roosters a mix of experience and youth, forming a formidable combination for the upcoming NRLW season.
