The Sydney Roosters have reason to celebrate as they announce the contract extensions of Brydie Parker and Mia Wood, solidifying their positions within the Club.

The Muswellbrook product, Parker, has been with the Roosters NRLW team since its inception in 2018, proving herself as a valuable asset on the field.

Despite an ACL injury in the delayed 2021 NRLW Grand Final, Parker made a triumphant comeback in the 2023 season opener.

Balancing her NRLW commitments with studying for a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Parker has also garnered recognition for her community involvement, earning the Club's nomination for the NRL's 2023 Victoria White Medal.

As for Wood, she made an impressive debut in 2023, making five appearances and scoring a hat-trick of tries that will be remembered by Roosters fans.

Her stellar performance earned her the title of the Club's NRLW Rookie of the Year.

Beyond rugby, Wood holds a qualification as an exercise physiologist.

The extensions of Parker and Wood are pivotal in building a strong NRLW squad for the Roosters, and their continued presence will surely contribute to the team's success in the seasons to come.
