Siua Wong has committed his future to the Roosters after signing a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2026.

The 20-year-old back-rower turned down interest from rival clubs to stay with the Roosters, citing his love for the club and the sense of home he has found there.

Wong's rise to the NRL has been meteoric, starting the year in reserve grade before making his debut in round 18 and playing a crucial role in the Roosters' late-season push to the finals.

As the first player to graduate to the NRL via the club's academy, Wong expressed his gratitude for the coaching staff and senior players at the club, stating, "I'm so lucky to be coached by Trent and to be mentored by the senior players at the club." He also acknowledged that he still has a lot of room for improvement and is looking forward to continuing to work hard to develop as a player and a person.
