In Round 22, the Sydney Roosters faced off against the Brisbane Broncos at The Gabba.
It was a historic game for veteran winger Daniel Tupou, who surpassed Club legend Anthony Minichiello to become Easts' all-time leading try scorer.
Tupou's 140th try came in his 237th appearance for the Tricolours, solidifying his place in Roosters folklore.
Last week, Tupou came close to breaking the record, but the try was disallowed by the bunker, making this achievement even more special.
In addition to his record-breaking try, Tupou had a remarkable performance, scoring and assisting a try, and running for an impressive 153 metres, the most of any Rooster in the game.
However, the Roosters faced an early setback when back-rower Egan Butcher was forced to leave the field after just 12 minutes.
But they were fortunate to have Nathan Brown and Terrell May step up and fill the gap, with May playing the most minutes in a match throughout his entire career.
